CPA or RevShare for casino streamers: which deal fits your stream?

Casino streamers: compare CPA, RevShare and wager-based deals, see how big wins and negative carryover affect your income, and pick the deal that fits your audience.

Streaming casino content is not like running a review website. Your traffic comes in waves, your viewers often follow you for months, and one lucky session on stream can change your monthly numbers. That is why the deal you sign matters even more for a streamer than for other affiliates.

This guide focuses on streamers. For the general mechanics of each model, read our article CPA, RevShare or Hybrid.

The three deals you will be offered

  • CPA: a fixed amount for each new player who deposits and meets the casino's conditions (minimum deposit, sometimes a wagering threshold).
  • RevShare: a percentage of the casino's net revenue on your players, for as long as they play.
  • Wager-based share: common at crypto casinos. You earn a share of the house edge on what your players wager, whether they win or lose.

Many casinos also offer a hybrid: a smaller CPA plus a smaller RevShare.

Why streamers are a special case

Your audience is loyal

Viewers who join a casino because of your stream often stay as long as they keep watching you. Loyal players are exactly what makes RevShare valuable: you keep earning month after month, not just once.

Your traffic comes in spikes

A big event, a giveaway or a viral clip can bring dozens of sign-ups in one night, then a quiet week. CPA pays you quickly for those spikes. RevShare turns them into a long-term income.

Big wins can hurt RevShare

This is the point most streamers discover too late. With RevShare, you earn when the casino earns. If one of your viewers hits a huge win, the casino's revenue on your players can become negative for the month.

Some deals include negative carryover: the loss is carried to the next months and must be "paid back" by future revenue before you earn again. One lucky viewer can wipe out several months of income.

Always ask: "Is there negative carryover, and is it reset every month?" A deal without carryover, or with a monthly reset, is much safer for a streamer.

Which deal for which streamer?

Small or new streamer (under about 50 viewers)

CPA or hybrid. You get paid for each new depositor without waiting months, and you are not exposed to big wins. Check the qualification rules: a CPA with a very high minimum deposit may pay less than it seems.

Established streamer with a loyal community

RevShare or wager-based share, ideally without negative carryover. Your viewers keep playing, so a share of their activity is worth more over time than a one-off payment.

Streamer with a mixed audience or unsure

Hybrid. You secure part of the value with the CPA and keep a long-term share with the RevShare. It is a good way to test a casino before committing.

Five questions to ask before you sign

  1. What exactly qualifies a player for the CPA (minimum deposit, wagering, delay)?
  2. Is there negative carryover? If yes, is it reset each month?
  3. Which countries are accepted? Players from other countries may not count.
  4. When and how am I paid (frequency, minimum payout, crypto or bank)?
  5. Is the deal exclusive, and for how long?

Read the deal, not the headline

"Up to 60% RevShare" or "CPA up to $200" are marketing numbers. What matters is the rate you actually get, the qualification rules, and how losses are handled. A lower rate with no carryover and fast payments is often worth more than a high headline rate.
